Discussion Boards - up and running

Hello Everyone,

Our Discussion Board is up and running.  I've posted an introduction under the measurement/evaluation topic.  We'll have postings under Instructional Design and eLearning in the next couple of days.  Please take a look at these boards and let us know what you are interested in discussing.

ASTD VOS Special Interest Groups

ROI Community of Practice (CoP) met yesterday.  We had a variety of different discussions such as when to use ROI, barriers to ROI, and what people are currently doing in their company. 

Join us again for more ROI on July 26 from 3:30-5:00 at Progressive Insurance.  If interested, please email Carolyn_Wilson@progressive.com. We'll be discussing different projects that are currently being worked on, ways we can learn from each other, and looking for solutions to potential barriers.

There is NO charge for attending a CoP.  Please tell your co-workers, friends, and anyone else who might be interested in ROI.

Instructional Design Community of Practice

On April 10, we introduced our first Community of Practice on the ADDIE model.  We're continuing our discussion on ADDIE:  Accelerating Design and Development.  Are you faced with the challenge of reducing training costs while still meeting the needs of your business?  Rapid Instructional Development (RID) helps you build the best instructional system you can within the confines of your company's parameters. 

Join us on June 12 at Progressive Insurance from 3:30-5:00 to take Rapid Instructional Development to whole new level!  Please email Carolyn_Wilson@Progressive.com if you are interested in attending. 

Progressive Insurance is located at 600 E. Curry Rd in Tempe.  The building is our training facility and you will park on the north side of the building following the training visitor directions.  Please check in with security and they will let you in the building.
