ASTD VOS - ID Workshop

Accelerated Learning: The Extreme Training Makeover

September 20, 2007

1:30-4:30

Crowne Plaza Hotel, Phoenix

Many organizations want to improve job performance but at the same time reduce training expenses. In essence, training developers feel like interior designers making major renovations on a shoestring budget. Accelerated Learning (AL) can make this impossible task possible. AL is a system for speeding up and enhancing both the training design process and the learning process. In this training, you will discover how effective AL can be to your learners, trainers, and department's bottom line.

Objectives:

Upon the completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

* Describe basic Accelerated Learning principles.

* Explain the benefits of using Accelerated Learning over

traditional classroom-style or computer-based learning.

* Develop accelerated learning activities for one of your existing

training courses.

* Address management and facilitator concerns about using

Accelerated Learning.

Stay tuned.. good things are coming to ASTD-VOS.
